What’s on at The Walnut Barn
Throughout the year we host a programme of events especially for our local community. We want you to have access to the special guest lecturers and teachers we invite to the Barn. Our events are designed to bring people together through creativity, culture, local heritage and the simple pleasures of life in southwest France.
Spend a day sketching with Toby Haseler, author, one of the UK’s most respected urban sketchers and a hugely popular YouTube tutor. With years of teaching experience and thousands following his online courses, this is a rare opportunity to learn from him in person during his only workshop in France in 2026.
If you can draw a square, rectangle and circle you will learn how to combine those shapes to draw whimsical little houses with a winter theme. We’ll explore colour too so bring your coloured pencils to complete your drawings.
