What we cook
We plan our menus carefully to showcase the local, seasonal produce. Lunches are a relaxed 3 courses. Light, fresh and satisfying, to restore your energy and keep you happily focused through an afternoon workshop or outing. Like the best traditional restaurants, we offer simple 4 course Table D’Hote dinner menus packed with Perigordine Clavours, designed to tempt the palette.

Apéro
Aperos are a French tradition – the relaxing bridge between day and evening. It’s that unhurried moment before dinner when friends gather with a drink in hand, something small to nibble, and chat about their day. The French are experts at the ritual. It signals slowing down: time to connect, savour simple flavours, and ease into the evening. We keep it in that spirit – relaxed, light, and sociable, with a small glass of something local to awaken the appetite.
Drinks
Carafes of local red, white or rosé are set out with dinner. We may offer something lighter from northern France for mid-day lunches such as Breton or Normandy Cider Wine is poured with each course, around four glasses in total. Generous but measured it’s just the right amount to enjoy good food and good company. (We don’t run a bar, but there’s always plenty of chilled water, tea, coffee and soft drinks available whenever you’d like them.)
